A 50 something dreaming of retirement. Until that day Ethel eeks out a living working part-time for the NHS in the UK and Internet writing for fun.
Ethel has been freelance writing online for over 4 years. You sure do learn a lot in that time. Hopefully her skills have improved.
She may be able to offer advice to others who are new to this game. However, each website has a new set of challenges and she still has tons to learn.
One of the great things about writing online is you make some great new buddies and it helps broaden your horizons.
Just like life in the real world though you do across some manipulators and people you do not like. Hey Ethel can handle that. Thankfully such people are usually in the minority. After all it should be about some fun not just another chore.
Xomba is no such place and has a great community. It can always do with new members though.

Interests:
Internet writing leaves so little time for other hobbies. However Ethel is a member of local animal rescue service Hessle Dog Rescue. She currently has one rescue dog who came on a short term foster basis some nine years ago. Married for almost 40 years to her soul mate life is still a roller-coaster affair. Gardening,reading, walking and cycling take up any time left. Then there are the chores. Phew.
In the last year Ethel has created two news based websites that are fun, hard work and increasingly popular with readers. Check out tekjournalismuk.com and wherebuttheuk.com
