New and final Harry Potter film: Trailer bookmark
I may be almost 60 but i am not ashamed to say that I adore the Harry Potter saga. I was a late starter to being a Potter fan, and I don't mean my age. Hubby, even older then I, had somehow or other began to read the books before me. I watched the first movie with him and was drawn into the tale. I decided to read the books and I was drawn in, hook, line and sinker.
Potter fans will no doubt agree with me that the books far outweigh the films. Like most books the fact that it is your imagination coming into play makes all the differnce. Add to this the fact that some of the films have edited the story too far, and there is no comparison.
This has meant that with the later films, if you have not read the book, parts may seem confusing or disjointed. However, each film has been better than the last so most people have high hopes for this finale.
At least these days special effects are such that dragons, flying broomsticks and people apparating are done with style.
The final movie in this series is released to cinema audiences in the UK on July 15, 2011. Already tempting snippets are appearing on TV.
This last film is actually a part two. The final book by J K Rowliing, The Deathly Hallows was a very long book. With that, plus the box office takings, in mind it was decided to split it into two films.
The official trailer, out on Youtube, looks suitably tempting. This final film has a battle almighty to portray and it is hoped it does it justice. The "children" are now young adults but hopefully they can pull it off, one more time.
As someone who will be queuing to see if they do, trust me a report will follow. Harry Potter fans throughout the land will be waiting in nervous excitemnt for the great day, July 15. Sad I know but great fun. Enjoy the taster attached.
watch! however since i havent watched any of the movies after Azkaban - I guess this will have to wait. I am a HUGE Potter fan though!
the books far outweigh the films - though it is difficult to do justice to Rowling's complicated plots in 3 hours!
The books go off at so many tangents it would be hard to capture it all I know. As a HP fan though you will have to try and catch these final two films :)
