Size 102ZZZ and weighing eight stone, record breaking breasts.
This is a strange story. Of course being a woman my initial reaction was OMG. After all who would want to carry around two huge breasts like these? I can only see the negatives, such a back pain, ridicule, embarassment, leering men and more. Many women crave larger breasts but this big? Surely not.
Well Annie Hawkins-Turner is the woman in question and her massive breasts have brought her fame by way of, a Guinness World Record. She has also found a lucrative modelling career and more. What is probably most amazing is the fact that her boobs are a natural phenomenon. No breast enlargement or tricks here.
She appeared on ITV's This Morning programme, June 23, 2011, in the UK.
Annie said that "her breasts started growing at the age of nine, and had caused her considerable emotional distress growing up". I bet they did. It is easy for most women to relate to that. Large breasts can mean that people, especially men, only talk to your bosom. Their eyes rarely manage to reach your face.
Annie inisisted that these days she is happy with her body. She claims that this is in part due to her husband. He has encouraged her to participate on adult websites and has increased her confidence. She says she can now "embrace her curves". What can I say!
It does sound as if hubby may have a vested interest in those boobs, one way or another.
What Annie did say though was that:
"Every time I get a new doctor they offer me surgery but I don't need surgery. I've got a strong back and have never had back ache. I've had therapy on how to hold myself so I won't hurt myself. Sometimes it irritates me when people ask, 'how do you walk?' I'm not handicapped. I've just got very large boobs which I've learned to take and just do marvellous things with."
Again, what can I say!
Annie was born 22 December 1958. Now aged 52, although the Youtibe video says 54, I find it hard to belivve that back problems are not going to arrive soon.
Her "stage" name is Norma Stitz, which is word-play on a phrase for large boobs. I will let you work that one out.
Annie's appearance on This Morning UK TV was to discuss the psychological and physical cost of having breasts that are too large. Of course too large is hard to define. In Ms Hawkins-Turner's case she claims she is fit and well.
Me? I am just gobsmacked.
I was going to hit full screen on that You Tube video, but I was worried those monster mammaries were going to knock the drink off my desk!
I just did not know what to think. As a woman I feel sorry for her but she says she is well happy
