YES Xomba's Adsense does work

Late last week I wrote a brief report on whether or not Xomba's adsense was working. Since the latest site update my google analytics had flatlined and I just had no way of checking, or so I thought. It seemed an impossible question to get answered. Without the forums I wanted to check with fellow Xombies. Well it seemed many of us were unsure.

Ever one for fair play I now want to set the record straight and say, YES, Xomba's adsense is working.

I have been away from the site for a few days, due to the dreaded computer problems but, before the advent of these I had taken the time to add a page of my articles to Google adsense. It seemed a little time consuming but was not too bad.

Anyways, the long and the short of it was they have shown some movement.

My initial concerns had been about whether my adsense account number had been inout correctly, by myself. I seemed to open a can of worms as others had some doubts. This will hopefully settle such concerns.

I intend to add each url as I write a new article now. This in the long run will work out quicker and will offer a couple of helpful things.

The bonus of this is that you can see which articles do well, or don't. This can help you fine tune keyowrds and titles of future Xomba reports. So often it is such things which determine Internet traffic to your work.

For those of you unsure how to add the URLS of your articles to adsense, here is what I did.

Sign into your Google Adsense account.

Go to My Ads.

Select Custom Channels.

Select + New Custom Channel.

Or select + URL

Copy and paste the URL of your completed Xomba report into the Name.

These instructions are much the same for both the old and new Google Interface.

In the new one, however, it seems as if it is possible to Target your website for specific ads.

This may not apply to sites such as Xomba but may be just your own personal blogs.

As always the advice is "suck it and see".

For many members who read this article it will be "Doh I know all this already".

However, there will be many more, like myself, who are constantly learning the ropes on this wonderful world wide Interent. To you folks, I hope this report helps.
